About me
Welcome! My name is Emily Rosengrant, and I am running for the Cumberland Valley School Board, representing Middlesex and Monroe Townships. As a devoted mom of two Cumberland Valley students, I am committed to ensuring that every child receives the best education possible. Together, we must prioritize the safety, well-being, and academic success of our students, preparing them for their futures. Let's work together to make our Shared Vision a reality: All students will develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to enroll, enlist, or employ.
Why Emily?
Why Emily?
Experience. Emily has dedicated the last five years to Cumberland Valley School District as the building secretary at Middlesex Elementary. In this role, she has made a positive impact on the lives of every student, family, teacher, and staff member who walked through the doors.
Investment. In addition to being a staff member, Emily is a parent of two current students. Her family chose Cumberland Valley School District for the great opportunities and rigorous
education. Emily is invested in the success of Cumberland Valley School District.
Relationships. Emily is a relationship-builder. She makes connections by listening, learning, and treating others with kindness and respect. She has built many impactful relationships across the district and looks forward to continuing this as a member of the school board.
Teamwork. Emily doesn’t have a personal agenda. She is not affiliated with radical groups. She is running for the school board because she wants what is best for ALL students, teachers, staff, and families. She believes in the Cumberland Valley School District.
Example. Emily leads by example. She treats everyone with respect. She believes in communicating and interacting with fellow board members and the community with dignity.
She believes the board has a duty to lead by example – because our children are watching.
Advocacy. Emily will advocate for responsible spending. She is interested in supporting teachers and staff to help them bring student success. She is also committed to transparency
for the community. She believes the residents of Cumberland Valley School District deserve this.
Extreme ideas don’t work – but working together respectfully does. It’s time to end the divisiveness and come together for the future of Cumberland Valley School District.

As an advocate for responsible spending across the district, I believe it's essential to collaborate with our state leaders to secure the revenue we are rightfully owed. Together, we can ensure that our resources are utilized effectively, supporting our community's growth and sustainability. I will commit to transparency and accountability in our financial practices for a brighter future.

Supporting our teachers is vital for the success of our district. By retaining our experienced educators and attracting new talent, we foster a vibrant learning environment for our students. I commit to providing the necessary resources and support to ensure our teachers feel valued and invested in their future here.
